As I rode west today, I passed a small war memorial at Concord and stopped to take this photo. I thought afterwards that I'd see how many other memorials I could photograph on my travels today, but lucked out at this one. I know there is a big memorial in Burwood (I have photographed it previously), but there didn't appear to be enough further west for me to stumble on them.
Note the flag in the background. It's actually a long, long way away, meaning that it is absolutely enormous. It pains me to say that I was unable to get out of bed this morning before sunrise to attend a service at a site like this. Put it down to an early morning attack of Monkey.
