Cut the crap - please

I've just done a survey on "wealth management" products. Ugh. The survey asked me to rate how I felt about certain statements made about a ficticious wealth management company.

They all got right up my nose.

I am sick to death of soft focus TV commercials promoting companies such as Macquarie and AXA and the like.

Why can't they just say, "We aim to make you rich, and that is going to cost you a bundle in fees".

There. Simple. I can live with that. But I just can't stand mushy, marshmellow type advertising that is so wishy-washy, it makes my hair stand on end.

Say it like you mean it.
