Old Man's War

Two boxes arrived from Amazon this week. First out of the box was Old Man's War, which I knocked off in two days. I put it down five minutes ago. I threw this in with all the non-fiction because it was only $7, and it had good reviews.

Let me give it another good review - it was a rollicking yarn. The author acknowledges a big debt to Heinlein and Starship Troopers. If you liked Starship Troopers (the book, not the movie), you will probably like this book. It's a lite version of Heinlein, but very good nonetheless.

Now, on to the heavier stuff.
