Down at heel

I think my cycling shoes have finally come to the end of their life. They've given me a good 11,000 km, so I can't complain too much. I just need to find a pair that is no less comfortable than these were.



I can feel an expensive day coming on tomorrow. The helmet has had it, and the bike computer went all wierd on me in the rain this week. If I get away with only dropping $600 in my favourite bike shop, I will have done well. I fear it could be much worse than that....

Still, that's not much more than two new tyres for the car, so one should not complain too loudly about the odd purchase of new kit. Speaking of which, I might need some new suit pants. The current ones are getting rather loose around the waist.
