I haven't seen a single cockroach all winter. For months, we have been cockroach free, which is great, since J just hates them, and I am always running around killing them and cleaning them up after she has spotted one.
To my surprise, the warm weather last week brought a few out. They weren't little baby, spring hatched cockroaches. They were large, fully grown monsters. They took quite a bit of killing too, but I got them in the end.
More cockroach spray will have to go on the shopping list now. In Sydney, there are that many cockroaches, it pays to have a can in almost every room in the house. You need it to be within arms reach when you see one of the buggers.
