Perhaps you have a comprehension problem. Try reading the post you link to again.
It hasn't helped Gaddafi at all. Who it HAS helped is a deeper question, and the answer might be suggested by the style of beard I see quite a lot of the Rebels wearing.
Silly bastards were IMO right to object, but for the wrong reasons.
