Teenagers
There I am, sitting here in front of the computer last night reading this and that.
Teenager looks over from his blood thirsty first person shooter game and looks at the article I'm reading.
"Who was Steve Jobs?"
Oh, for fuck's sake.....

but but , until he died and I read all the recent stuff about his achievements I didn't know either. I do read a fair bit too. Not about such people it seems. I'm 52 . That said I would have thought given the line of work Jobs was in that young people would be more likely to know who he was than some old fart struggling to keep up with technology (I never did master the programming of a VCR but fortunately we have moved past that (lol).) Now I have a different technique for dealing with my technological inadequacy. I pretend I don't care and am not especially interested in it. I think it fools my kids (20 & 19 yrs).

Next, we shall learn about William Henry Gates III, whose unbroken series of IT prognostication miscues ...
Cheers
