Picking through the trash in the garbage bin of life.

New blog layout
What do you think of me as an artiste? Is my new blog photo and description worthy of an Arts Council grant perhaps? Should I remove myself from my palatial wog palace and take up residence in a left bank garret?
I've been toying with the idea of changing mine. But there are only two other designs I like, and I really like the way it is set out now... although, visiting Mythusmage's place and a few others, the WordPress ones are pretty good... I like your picture, but shouldn't you be picking through the garbage IN the bin of life?
I changed my template 'cos the old one was a debacle, but I guess if it ain't broke...
I think I see what you're getting at here though BOAB...
Space is relational, adaptive and contested. In such spaces discourses on economics, political practice and society are articulated, ideationally as well as in social, economic and political action. Dominant discourses emerge reflecting constellations of social and economic power that in turn come to serve themselves as tools in the exercise of control and authority. However because space is fluid and dynamic, dominant values are challenged and resisted.
Kae, Boab - yes, but looking at the photo not all of the trash is IN the garbage bin. A fair bit of it is currently masquerading as the NSW Government; and, alas, won't be consigned to the garbage bin for another two years.

I like it. It really establishes a powerful critique of the symbolic dessitude that is inherent in our hegemonic capitalist discourses. Another latte?

So, a good job, I'd say.
"IN"? Picky, picky, picky.
But I have fixed it.
I chose the seagull because they shit on everything. I thought that was apt.
Seagull works for me, BoaB.

How did you get the seagull to pose?
Boab mesmerised the gull with a chip.
