There seem to be plenty of cranes around the place as new buildings go up, but you never see a crane being erected or dismantled.Well, today I got my chance. There is a building site just below the ANZAC Bridge, and they have just started putting a crane together. The first step seems to be to lay out all the parts, and to then assemble the boom with a smaller crane. I'll have to see how far they have progressed tomorrow.
