Big ship, low bridge



From where I was standing, I was sure a bit of radar equipment was going to end up dangling from the bottom of the bridge.

Nah, the skipper knew what he was doing... I'd say there would have been a whole inch or more of clearance!

These older "medium size" cruise ships (This is one of the Princess "Sun-Class" ships from the 90s) are about the biggest that will fit under the bridge. Which makes it even more unbelievable that the NSW government is persisting with a new cruise ship terminal at White Bay, when almost no major cruise ship built in the world in the last 10 years can even fit under the bridge to get there.
