As a recovering revhead, for the first time in years, I didn't attend yesterday (Saturday is less congested). I usually sit in that area because it has a good aspect on the track. Must have known something.
Obviously your kismet was looking after you. We have become so used to high barrier fences etc as seen with street circuits that when I saw the waist high fence there I was quite surprised. Admittedly most run-offs from the track are just that and the tyre barrier beforehand. I hope those injured make a speedy recovery.
