The Green Left Weekly displays less bias than the Fin Review.Boy on a bikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14452119541546978454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27584252.post-57451184634167053772008-09-08T22:24:00.000+10:002008-09-08T22:24:00.000+10:00Bruce, spot on; ditto for The Age and Australian F...Bruce, spot on; ditto for The Age and Australian Financial Review. Why has Fairfax allowed its media stable to be captured by the left?

The only quality newspaper remaining with some balanced commentary is The Oz.

Tim Blair is a daily must read for me.

A perusal of today's count by the WAEC shows postal votes are clearly favouring the Libs. Around 1990 I was an avid SMH reader, cover to cover almost. By 2000 I was just skimming the headlines, as I found most of the article repetitious and predictable. I'd read a headline and I could sketch out the content in advance in my head. Got to where I would 'read' the full SMH in 30 secs, stopping rarely for an interesting piece.

Oh - Paddy McGuiness was the only SMH writer whose column I always liked, without fail.

Finding Tim Blair on the 'net in, what, 2002, gave me a new lease on life.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
